Song Associations

If you are having trouble hearing and identifying intervals then song association can help. The interval described in the left hand column is the distance between first two notes of the melodies to the right. It is best to use tunes you already know and if you don't know any of the melodies in a particular section then learn them, because most of these are standards or tunes you really should know.
